The Musician

“The Musician” celebrates the universal language of music — a form of art that connects, heals, and unites us. In this work, the figure of the musician sits grounded and focused, his simple act of playing a guitar echoing the timeless connection between creativity and calm. The playful background of patterned cats adds warmth and rhythm, symbolising harmony, repetition, and joy — much like the structure of a song.

For me, music and art are deeply intertwined. Both invite us to listen, to feel, and to express the world around us with honesty and imagination. This piece is a tribute to those quiet moments of creation — when sound, colour, and emotion flow together as one.
